IMPLEMENTATION
Our PE curriculum is designed to ensure that all pupils have access to a high-quality physical education. We place emphasis on effective teaching, a wide range of activities, and opportunities for pupil leadership and collaboration.
We have a team of well-qualified PE teachers who possess expertise in a variety of areas, ensuring high-quality instruction and appropriate progression. This is supported by Class Teachers also delivering PE sessions.
Our curriculum offers a wide variety of activities, including team sports, individual sports, outdoor and adventurous activities, dance, gymnastics, and athletics. We promote progressive skill development by providing a clear pathway for learning, enabling students to build upon fundamental skills and knowledge as they progress through the school. We employ a range of teaching strategies and adapt our lessons to meet the needs and abilities of all pupils, ensuring that every child is included and challenged appropriately.
We encourage pupils to take ownership of their own learning through leadership roles, peer mentoring, and collaborative projects, fostering responsibility, teamwork, and communication skills. We establish partnerships with local clubs, coaches, and community organizations to provide additional opportunities for pupils to engage in extracurricular activities, competitions, and workshops.
We prioritize the health and safety of pupils during PE lessons and provide a supportive environment where students feel comfortable taking risks and trying new activities.

We measure impact through ongoing assessment, student feedback, and observation, ensuring continuous improvement.
